It was my 10th year participating in Strut your Mutt and Eddie's 4th year. He had to be carried almost the whole way because of his little back issue. He called on huge dogs, marked almost all the territory he could mark, and ate lots of snacks. The dogs had a great time and went home and took long naps all afternoon.
My Mom's dog, Madison, was a little less crazy this year because of the bark collar (which shocks her slightly if she barks - it was so nice because she does get a little over stimulated at events like this). This year was the first year ever that we were part of a dog pack. A dog pack is 5 or more people that sign up to be a team. We were part of The Dog's Meow dog pack (with our good friends that own our favorite pet food store, The Dog's Meow). Once they post our dog pack picture online, I will post it on here. We heart No More Homeless Pets in Utah and the Strut your Mutt event!

So cute - I wish our dogs were better behaved so they could participate!
Wow! What an event. Sounds like it would be fun to participate in. I think it's great when so many people participate in a good cause!
That is so cool! Have you heard of the Canine Casino Night? It's this Saturday at the Radisson Hotel. Gambling in Utah! It's also a fundraiser for no more homeless pets in Utah.
The name alone cracks me up--the fact that they can raise that much makes me laugh even harder and your little dogs calling on dogs that could eat them whole, almost makes me do the "Michelle Wheeze" from laughter.
Glad you had a great time yet once again and that you are have supported a good cause for a full decade.
That is so cute! I wanna go next year...is it a mad house there?
so funny, I've been waiting for this post from you! Every time I'd pass the billboard for Strut your Mutt I'd think of you - :) great post
